In John Milton’s book Paradise Lost, the author explores Satan’s rebellion against and from heaven and his vengeful deception of the
newly created mankind. Throughout the story Milton expands on the evil thoughts and schemes of the devil himself along with his
fallen angels or demons. What would it have been like to be Adam and Eve in the garden before and after they ate the forbidden
fruit? What was Satan thinking that caused him to rebel? Why did God allow Satan to tempt His new creation? Paradise Lost
explores these questions, and in this assignment, you will explore some of these questions yourself.
