empirical articles to start their research. Be sure that each of these articles has is empirical, peer-reviewed, and has a method section.
Prior to searching for the articles, write down and then prioritize 8 terms that may be helpful in your search for sources.

Evaluating and Analyzing Your Sources
Do your three sources have a relevant focus as opposed to being too general, too specific, or not clearly connected? In other words, do the articles potentially have
insights that could inform your own research proposal?
For each of your three selected sources, summarize each article with about 3 paragraphs using correct citations. Place an emphasis on the findings of the research for
each article. Consider including the following:
** Please note that qualitative articles may not have all the components below, but they must still be empirical and peer-reviewed to be utilized
What is the specific research question?
What is the specific hypothesis and the rationale for that hypothesis?
Why is this topic important to study according to the author?
What variables are being examined?
Who are the participants?
How did they recruit or get their participants (sampling)?
How are they operationally defining the variables?
What tools are they using to measure the variables?
What general procedure was followed?
What were the results? Identify the statistical evidence that helps to answer their hypothesis.
How did their findings fit with existing research?
What limitations or concerns did they have about their research design?
What recommendations did they make for future research?
What recommendations did they make for application in the field of psychology
