Discuss the pre operative and post operative management required including investigations and education
This assignment is for nursing home patient who is to undergo a total hip replacement for fractured neck of femur post fall at home . So basically in pre operative care I want to include points like stop anticoagulant if patient is on one and , check obs etc and then post operative care regarding position of patient and also focus on 24 hour check after surgery and also include long term complications and issues associated with the surgery. Also include investigations and education included in care.
