Process of normalization between US and Vietnam

Find the negotiation process of diplomatic normalization between the US and Vietnam. Therefore you don’t need to write about the Vietnam War. Please write the diplomatic relation AFTER the war. Firstly, please describe the relation between the two countries after the war. Secondly, please research the reasons why they decide to normalize the relation (i.e. economic crisis in Vietnam and international situations around US and Vietnam) Third, this is the most important part of the paper.
