Analyze one of the six major secular psychological theories covered in
this course. In evaluating the chosen theory, you will learn to critically analyze the theory in light of Scripture’s
teachings.
In a 1,500-2,000-word paper, choose one of the six psychological theories covered in the course thus far and
evaluate the theory in light of Scripture. Include the following in your paper:
Describe each of the individual tenets of the psychological theory and compare each to Scripture’s teachings.
For each tenet of the psychological theory, provide Scriptural basis for either accepting or rejecting the tenet.
Support your position by referencing at least four to five academic resources, including the Bible. Two to three
of these resources should be descriptive of the theory, not just definitions of the theory, so utilize useful
sources in the analysis of the theory. Incorporate the research into your writing in an appropriate, scholarly
manner.
