Locate and research an Australian organization with evidence of a public relations function. Drawing from
prescribed readings (topics 1-4) and your own research, critically analyse the public relations activities of the
organisation (a minimum of four academic/scholarly sources required).
Locating an organisation engaged in public relations activities:
Research is vital. Look for evidence of communication with target publics. For example, media releases on the
website, social media accounts and content, events, annual reports, news articles etc. You may even find
information about specific public relations roles within the organisation.
You can choose any corporate, government or non-government organisation based in Australia, excluding any
organisations that have formed the basis of class discussions and case studies.
