The current event project is designed for the student to interact with the current events around the globe and their relation to religion. Students will locate four significant current event articles (they should be at least 1,000 words) from reputable news sources regarding different events connected to religion. For each event, the student will provide a source citation, summary of the event, and a description of the importance of the event with regards to religious group(s). Each write-up will be about 250 words for a total of 1000 words.
