According to Britannica.com, an Information System is an integrated set of components for collecting, storing,
and processing data and for delivering information, knowledge, and digital products. Write a 300-word
minimum, double-spaced paper on the topic of information systems. Within the paper, describe the basic
concepts of information systems. Additionally, evaluate the role of information systems in supporting
organizational goals and provide examples where appropriate. Feel free to use personal experiences with
information systems as examples.
Apply appropriate technology tools and resources to locate and retrieve information from various sources (e.g.,
on-line, libraries, etc.) while completing this assignment. Use proper English grammar and spelling and normal
