Ethos, pathos, and logos each have a different meaning:
Ethos is an appeal to ethics, and it is a means of convincing someone of the character or credibility of the persuader.
Pathos is an appeal to emotion and is a way of convincing an audience of an argument by creating an emotional response.
Logos is an appeal to logic and is a way of persuading an audience by reason.
From your Project #2, list an argument that you have made that is an appeal of ethos, pathos, and logos. (A total of 3 arguments)
Examine the arguments of at least 2 peers and comment on the following:
1. Are the arguments true representatives of the rhetorical appeal? (In other words, if the argument is listed as an example of pathos, comment if the arguments are actually an appeal to pathos.)
2. Is the argument effective? If not, how could the argument be made more effective?
