Present a case of a acute pneumothorax non traumatic. Subjective Data (10 points): Demographics, Chief Complaint, HPI, ROS, PMH, PSH, Social History. Objective Data (10 points): Precise presentation of physical examination findings, including relevant negatives and positives. Diagnostics (10 points): Order and rationale for at least three laboratory/diagnostic tests. Include recommendations for tests in the absence of diagnostic testing. Diagnosis / Differential Diagnosis (20 points): Clearly list the primary diagnosis and a minimum of three differential diagnoses. Provide data used to rule in or rule out each differential diagnosis. Include national guidelines supporting each diagnosis. Etiology Epidemiology (5 points): Inclusive definition and description of the disorder’s etiology. Include incidence/prevalence, age, race, gender, morbidity/mortality, and health economics. Pathophysiology / Genetics (10 points): Comprehensive description of pathophysiology and genetics related to the disorder. Physical Exam (PE) Findings (10 points): Concise presentation of significant signs and PE findings associated with the disorder. Assessment / Treatment / Evidence-Based Guidelines (20 points): Clearly provide patient diagnoses. Describe a treatment plan according to guidelines, including pharmaceuticals, patient education, prevention strategies, follow-up visits, and referrals. Support the treatment plan with evidence-based guidelines.
