Pretend that you are a journalist working for an imaginary local newspaper, the Pompey Clarion. You are considering a possible article about the potential problem for Portsmouth caused by global warming. First you investigate how Portsmouth citizens feel about the danger of the sea level rising and what can be done to protect the city. You design an electronic questionnaire which (theoretically) could be emailed to citizens to obtain data about their opinions. The data gathered will be analyzed using Access and Excel and then a PowerPoint presentation generated to be given to your editor and other journalists on the paper.
