One day after work you ask her what is wrong. She says she “doesn’t want to talk about it” but you press for an answer. After some hesitation, she tells you that she has been having an affair for several months with another supervisor. Two weeks ago, however, she decided to end the affair. Since that time, she says the supervisor has made rude comments to her about her intelligence (that she is “dumb”) and the way she dresses (“sloppy”). He has told her he doubts she will remain employed. This supervisor is also a good friend of yours. What should you do?
