As a teacher, you will need to be aware of state laws for school safety. From this link (below) read the content of the following NY state laws: 803a, 804, 806 & 808.
** Then find and cite websites of two different school districts.
** Compare and contrast the two in how they address the safety issues raised in the four laws.
** Lastly, add a paragraph on what you see as the teacher’s responsibilities toward the four laws in being ready to uphold school safety and to intervene when a problem or threat arises.
