Description
Based on my Problem Statement :-
Literature has reported that the lack of attention given for factors influence the security behaviour to avoid phishing victimisation and a literature shows that the success or the failure of security techniques largely depends on customer behaviour. Previous studies also found that most computer users have a lack of information security knowledge due to insufficient awareness. A report by Kaspersky Labs showed that 63% of bank IT professionals believed that the user was the weakest link in security. It also found out that 40% of respondents believed that customers are careless with their online behaviour. Also, in another study discovered customers are difficult to assess what security vulnerabilities they might expose. Similarly, Mohamed et al. (2017) revealed more than 60% users are unable to identify and handle the existing information security threats. It is also evidenced in a study by van Schaik (2018), the safety of online banking cannot be guaranteed by technical implementations alone. Hence, there is a need to examine the factors that effect a security behaviour of phishing victimisation in online banking customers. This research intends to identify the factors influencing security behaviour among online banking customers in Jordan, and later will evaluate the findings.
