The goal of this journal is to increase your self-awareness by reflecting upon the course readings. For each of the Weeks, you should cite a passage from the reading for that week as your Source of Inspiration: a specific page and quotation from the reading that makes you think about yourself or others, that reminded you of an experience you had in the past or present that caused you emotional difficulty or discomfort, or that prompted you to consider changes to the way you behave, think, or relate to others. Then, under My Reflection, draft no more than one double-spaced page of your thoughts on the Source of Inspiration.
Include your scores from the Emotional Intelligence Appraisal test (the online test that you access using the code in your new copy of Emotional Intelligence 2.0) below and explain which skill you will focus on. Your results should help guide your choices of Source of Inspiration and My Reflection in this journal.
