Select an individual who was/is a social worker pioneer (i.e. Lester Blackwell Granger, Dorothy Height).
1) Identify and discuss: Lifespan, early life
2) description of the problem they addressed, efforts led by the pioneer to address the problem identified, strategies used.
3) How did they impact/change the field of social work.
4) What were the purposes the pioneer worked towards achieving? Discuss how these efforts impacts how we practice social work today.
