Source Music in Film

          When music is used in a film, it suddenly becomes associated with a work of art that the original composer knew nothing about (like “Come And Get Your Love” in Guardians of the Galaxy or Also Sprach Zarathrustra in 2001: A Space Odyssey). Does this situation damage music by overwhelming its original meaning? And how careful should Hollywood be in honoring the intentions of composers?
