Complete the following assignment activities:
1. Read Chapter 4 Case Study 1, A Not-for-Profit Medical Research Center. When reading this case, pay particular attention to the specifics of the project being proposed, and the players involved in the case. (Note: You will read and carefully examine this case, but not answer the case questions). 2. Using the STAKEHOLDER_REGISTER form, create a stakeholder register using the key players identified in the case. As you do this, consider the definition of “stakeholder” as outlined in the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK@ Guide) readings assigned this week. 3. Consider the level of interest of each stakeholder as well as the ability of each to influence the outcome of the project, plot each project stakeholder on the STAKEHOLDER_ANALYSIS_MATRIX form. 4. Using the PROJECT_CHARTER form, complete the charter based upon the information in the case. Apply your best judgment regarding the sponsor of the along with the relevant details of the purpose and deliverables of the project. Although the charter functions primarily as the formal authorization of the project, the charter also include elements of the project objective as described in chapter 4 of the text. 5. Combine all forms into a single document, format it as a report, and provide an introductory paragraph briefly summarizing key elements of your documents for the benefit of the project sponsors and stakeholders.
