If you have any troubles finding a short story, feel free to contact your teacher. The idea is to select a story that you enjoy. Make some notes on the short story. You will need to identify the authors dominant message or overall theme. In addition, your blog will need to include a discussion on 3-5 elements used to enhance this desired effect or overall theme. Consult the list of elements above in the content section for assistance. You are now ready to write your blog entry about the short story. You can either create the blog in a word processor or you can use a free website like WordPress if you would like to create an actual blog. In addition to following the checklist for writing a good blog post (see above), you must indicate the overall theme of the short story and discuss 3-5 elements that the author uses to highlight that theme.
