Pick two of the texts from our course readings—The Dream of Water by Kyoko Mori, Passage to Ararat by Michael J. Arlen, We the Animals by Justin Torres, and Rose by Li-Young Lee—and analyze the way that the narrators’ relationship to their cultural heritage changes or develops throughout both texts in comparison or in contrast to one another. Reference at least three passages from both texts.
