These are the Criteria that I want in this essay:
a) Argument
Develops a claim that guides the essay.
b) Organization
Clearly leads the reader through the argument.
c) Support
Provides enough reasoning and information to make the argument clear and convincing.
d) Style
Uses clear, varied, and engaging language to support the argument.
e) Grammar and mechanics
Follows academic conventions in sentence structure, capitalization, punctuation, spelling, etc.
f) Introduction
Opens the essay in a relevant and interesting way.
g) Title
Provides an engaging and informative title.
h) MLA Format
Follows MLA for formatting and documenting sources.
