The Exploration Stage of an internship

1. Using the concepts from the course textbook, first describe your experience with the Exploration Stage of an
internship (half page to 1 page).
2. Explain which of your goal(s) you have attained, by providing actual examples of what tasks you completed in
order to meet your goal(s) (1 page).
3. (a) Describe one goal that you have not attained. (b) Explain what has prevented you from attaining this particular
goal. (c) How will you revise the goal or work towards attaining the goal? (1 page)
4. Based on your own experience at the internship site, provide an example where each of the components of Kolb’s
experiential learning cycle is described (i.e. – CE, RO, AC, AE). Indicate how each component is represented in
your example, by placing “CE”, “RO”, “AC”, and “AE” in parenthesis, at the end of the sentence where each
component is described (1 to 1.5 pages).
5. Explain 3 things you would do differently (including how you would do it differently) in this organization if you
were the boss/owner? (1-1.5 pages)
