The idea that WWII was primarily a war of the Western democracies

      What is problematic about the idea that WWII was primarily a war of the Western democracies (i.e. U.S. and Britain) against the Nazis? In other words, why is that claim too simplistic? Discuss at least two examples to support your answer.
