You are a member of the legal team of the newly independent Arys and your advice is sought on the following: a. How Arys should claim and define its territorial sea; b. The legal consequences of making such a claim and in particular whether neighbouring Beberry's fishing fleet can be excluded from entering Arys's territorial sea for any purpose; c. Whether other states naval vessels and submarines can be excluded from entering Arys's territorial sea; and d. Whether Arys should claim a contiguous zone.
