The United States government

        The United States government was founded on the principles set forth in the Declaration of Independence and the Articles of Confederation. The Articles of Confederation had flaws in its design and application. The new government established the Constitution to replace the Articles of Confederation. Federalism is one of the major principles of the Constitution. Explain federalism and use one example of a current event that is interconnected to the topic of federalism.
