Write a thesis about how the author uses language (diction, tone, syntax, imagery) to portray the change in the mental state of the narrator. Would like to compare the symptoms presented by the narrator to that of postpartum depression and how the change in mindset progresses to more of a psychosis as the story progresses with the changes in language depicted by the author.
