Theory Paper

  This assignment requires you to write a paper using a theoretical approach to group counseling. Specifically, you are expected to: • Identify the theory and state the assumptions of the theory • Describe major theoretical constructs/concepts about the theory • Critique this theory relative to the group process (explore the benefits and challenges) • Review how your chosen theoretical framework (described in the literature) can be utilized with your specific group population • Describe interventions utilized with both your chosen theory and your specific group population Students will utilize APA formatting throughout the paper with at least four different journal articles and other practice resources. This paper will be 5-7 pages in length, excluding the title page and the reference page.
