:Give a brief summary of the research that was conducted, the conclusions and recommendations. Is the research question well stated? Why or why not? Does the author cite relevant evidence, experiences, and/or information essential to the issue at hand? Does the author show a sensitivity to what he or she is assuming or taking for granted? (Insofar as those assumptions might reasonably questioned)? Does the author develop a definite line of reasoning, explaining well how he or she is arriving at his or her conclusions? How would you take findings from this research and apply it in "real life?" What would you say to a client who asked you for your opinion about this article? The "quality" of your topic largely affects your research and writing process. Therefore, this review process will help ensure several things, including: Scale. Is your topic too broad? Too narrow? If your topic is either too broad or too narrow, you will have difficulty locating appropriate research. Timeliness. Is your topic part of current, developing research? If so, is there enough quality research available at this time? Or, are you researching an historic topic? If so, is there enough credible, verifiable research readily available?
