Search online for toys that can be used to explain a child’s cognitive ability for each of Piaget’s 4 stages. The terms you use to search will be important, so think carefully before you simply search, “toys for Piaget’s stages.”
Post a picture of the toy, an explanation of how the toy was developed to address the child’s abilities in that stage. You can even include an explanation as to why the child might grow out of the toy at the end of the stage.
For example, if you chose a jack-in-the-box (which you now can’t because I’ve used this as an example) as the toy for the sensory motor stage,you would talk about how the toy is fun because the child has yet to develop objective permanence, so a child between the ages of birth to 12 months will think that the jack-in-the-box disappears and then re-appears.
