Transitioning from ICD-9 to ICD-10

  The transition from ICD-9 to ICD-10 that was completed on October 1, 2015, will result in many updates and benefits, but it was challenging for healthcare organizations.   Your Task After completing this week's required readings and resources, provide a post that addresses the following: Were you working for a healthcare organization when the transition from ICD-9 to ICD-10 occurred? A: When I started working my organization had already transitioned to ICD-10. If so, what impact did it have on your organization and your role? How did the transition go and what lessons were learned that might be applied to future transitions?
