Select two IV fluids to compare and contrast. You may select two of the IV fluids discussed in this article or any other commonly administered crystalloid IV fluids. Your initial post must be at least 100 words. For each IV fluid, research its composition- which solutes does it include? What is its osmolarity? Is it isotonic, hypotonic, or hypertonic compared to normal plasma? What indications are given for its administration? What special precautions would you need to watch out for as a nurse administering each of these IV fluids? Anything else noteworthy about this IV fluid?
