The purpose of this assignment is twofold.
To assess students’ capacity to apply theoretical perspectives on business and management to real world work applications.
To assess the extent to which students are able to further develop their career plan as a consequence of their work placement.
In this report students are:
To draw from the reflective journal that they have kept through the workplacement experience to develop their ideas
To apply personal action learning, critical thinking and reflection to assess how they have incorporated previously learnt theoretical perspectives on business and management during work placement.
To reflect on new skills and competencies that are developed during work placement.
To critically discuss how the work placement experiences combined with previous learning might better contribute to their future career plan.

The critical discussion of the initial perceptions of the role and tasks you were to undertake and the extent to which they were achieved.
The depth of reflection on the extent to which you were able to apply previously learnt theoretical knowledge in the work place environment.
The critical discussion of new skills and competences developed through the work placement.
The identification and discussion of how the work place experience might contribute to your future career path.
