African American ethnic identity

Briefly describe how your African American ethnic identity influences your lifestyle and overall well-being. Highlight the ways in which specific sociocultural standards, values and norms relevant to your ethnic identity have shaped your behavior, interpersonal/family dynamics, and the experience of self and other people. Identify the extent to which you adhere to or feel conflicted about the values and norms traditional to the ethnic group you identify with. Finally, reflect on your ethnic identity vis-a-vis the multiculturalism and pluralism in contemporary US society.
