After reading The Landlady, we will be focusing on point of view writing and how it changes a story.
Your task is to write a 4-5 paragraph narrative from the point of view of another character in one of the stories
that we read.
- Think about which character or point of view that story was in.
- Think about what other characters were involved in the plot.
- Choose one of those characters and rewrite the story or a major scene from that character’s point of view.
- I.e. rewriting the conversation in the living room from the Landlady’s perspective.
- Rewriting the story from the husband’s perspective.
