Attributes of Public Opinion

For this assignment, examine the attributes of public opinion and explore its impact on the decisions of policymakers—a subject that has been closely
studied by political scientists. Also, explain the theory and practice of polling, which has become the primary method of assessing public opinion.
Your assignment should be completed as a Word document or submitted in the text box and loaded into the Assignment 1 section on the Connect
course room. The assignment should be a MINIMUM of TWO (2) pages – NOT COUNTING HEADERS; double-spaced – this does not include
anything that is not the essay. There is more than enough material here to fill two pages. While two pages are the minimum, you should really be
