Childhood obesity

Childhood obesity is a serious condition that affects children and adolescents. A child is considered obese if his or her weight is above the normal weight of the 95th percentile for children of the same age and sex, according to the child’s BMI (Body Mass Index). Many children who are obese become obese adults, especially if one or both parents are obese. Childhood obesity can lead to physical and emotional problems that may be hard to overcome. However, childhood obesity and its destructive consequences can be ameliorated if we can find the culprits that lead to obesity. In a multi-paragraph essay (introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion), delineate the problem of childhood obesity by explaining the causes and effects of childhood obesity and then write two paragraphs proposing some solution(s) to alleviate the problem of childhood obesity.
