Describe Supervisory Challenges – Human Resources
This course studies the supervisory concepts and practices that are used by management in today’s business environment by providing a blend of practice, theory, and skills development To operate successfully in this changing environment, organizations need supervisors with the managerial skills and creativity to turn uncertainty into opportunity. This course shows how to apply the principles of supervisory management to take advantage of those opportunities.
After completing the readings and assignments in this section, you should be able to do the following:

2. Evaluate various managerial functions for appropriate application and effectiveness.
3. Select appropriate techniques for motivating employees.
4. Develop applications of positive discipline in the workplace.
5. Define the difference between various levels of organizational planning.
Write a paper discussing what you think are the most important supervisory challenges in the modern workplace. How do these challenges reflect society? How has workplace supervision changed over the last 50 years and why?
Support your paper with a minimum of two (2) resources, which may include your required text(s). In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
Length: 5-7 pages not including title and reference pages
Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
