Write a report (double-spaced Times New Roman 12 size font with 1″ margins) where you will discuss the differences and similarities between Windows and Linux OSs. Explain what a distribution is. Are there
different distributions of Windows 7 or 8 (use whatever installed windows version you have)? Discuss the difference between file systems, memory management, disk management, etc. Where are user files located
in Linux? In Windows? Where do installed applications live in Windows and in Linux? How/where are the
passwords stored in Windows and Linux?
