RESEARCH PAPER DESIGN
Select a research topic from the field of public administration or public policy. Submit a paper that reviews the relevant literature, identifies research questions to be answered, identifies data sources and methods of data collection and analysis (depending on type of methodology), and outlines a research design.
In general, the paper should:
1. State an interesting/important research question;
2. Provide for a literature review, including scholarly chapters in edited volumes and peer-reviewed journals;
3. Present a coherent strategy for conducting an inquiry on the topic such as single or rival theories, conceptual problems and advances, type of analysis, the use of hybrid methodologies, and data collection methods and sampling procedures;
4. Provide endnotes/references;
Prepare a 150-200 word abstract with submission.
