Your task is to craft a rough draft that gives a general sense of where your story begins, how it develops, and how it ends. You may perhaps aim for ~800 words or so, In other words, this rough draft should be more than an outline, so that you can get some helpful feedback from your peers.
As you begin your drafting process, you may consider the following questions:
Where does the story begin in terms of location, time, who/what are involved? In other words, how do you want to situate your reader?
What is the story about?
Whose story is it? What is your role as the writer?
What sensory details do you want to use for the reader to feel your story?
What sources (both interview and secondary sources) have you identified and will you use?
What interview quote can you use to bring the story to life?
What type of story (Conquering fear/evil, journey, overcoming obstacles, empowerment, cautionary tale, reinvention or renewal, etc.) is it?
What tone (intimate, playful, sad, serious, etc.) do you want to adopt?
How will you organize the story? Where does it begin and where does it end?
