There are many other Fraud theories developed in the last 61 years (see the timeline below). The focus of this assignment is on the Fraud Triangle and two of those other theories, the Fraud Diamond and the Fraud Pentagon.
This case is also a chance for you to practice your internet research skills.
To complete this case:
1. Download a copy of the assignment worksheet. Save it as FTWorksheet-last name (using your last name).
2. Find a minimum of three web pages related to each specific Fraud theory. Review the information on each site to better inform yourself regarding each theory. To complete this part, list each webpage. In order to achieve this portion, I should be able to access the webpage through the link. 3. Identify what each side (or point) of the respective Fraud Theory represents.
4. Using the information gathered through these different web pages, provide a discussion of what you found out regarding the three different theories. Can you write 750 words. In your discussion be sure to include…
a. How do the theories compare?
b. Is one more accurate than the others?
c. While doing your research, did you come across another theory that might be more accurate?
d. How do these theories tie into what we have discussed regarding ethics and ethical decision-making?
