Integrative term project

The integrative term project may be completed either individually or with one more fellow student. The

requirements, listed below, are the same whether you work alone or with one more student.

The integrative term project must address the five (5) points below:

1 Discuss similarities and differences in the organizational cultureof the two companies selected

with respect to artifacts, values, and core assumptions.

2 Discuss ethical and positive elements featuring in the two cultures.

3 Discuss similarities and differences in the organizational structureof the two companies.

Points 1, 2, 3 require discussion only and make up the descriptive part of the paper. Points 1, 2, 3

combined count for 60% of the grade.

4 Explain factors behind similarities/differences in the culture and structure of the two companies

selected.

5 Evaluate the fit between structure and culture in each of the two companies compared.
Points 4 & 5 require explaining and evaluation and make up the analytical part of the paper. Points 4 and 5

combined count for 35% of the grade.
Executive summary and presentation (see below) combined count for 5% of the grade.
You may proceed step by step from the descriptive part, that is points 1, 2, 3 and then go to the analytical

part that is, 4 & 5. Alternatively, you may combine both describing and explaining at the same time.
