Intimacy and Sexuality– Self Directed learning module
For this lesson, you will engage in self-directed critical thinking, and will submit a 2-3 page paper with a title page, and reference list. The purpose of this assignment is to supplement what you are learning from your textbook, and also to practice academic writing in APA format. Here is a list of what to do.
1. Read ONE of the two scholarly articles on teen sexuality (TWO PDF FILES ARE ATTACHED SO CHOOSE ONE OF THE TWO TO WORK ON THE PAPER).
2. Make a reference list of these two things (article and text book). Use formatting of the APA 6th edition. See the APA resources links for how to make a reference list using APA format.
3. Write a 2-3 paged paper summarizing the scholarly article. What did this research study teach us? Be sure to read the discussion section for implications of the research. Next give a critique about how the two sources (article vs. textbook *TEXTBOOK INFO IS PROVIDED BELOW) presented the information differently. Conclude the paper with research-basedrecommendations for sex education programs in our country.
4. The paper should have a title page, running head with page numbers, 2-3 pages of double spaced, 12 point font, and a reference page.
