Project description
Choose one of the topics we talked about in our class (e.g.: the rally round the flag phenomenon; ethnocentric coverage; predictors of the coverage of foreign conflicts, etc.), and analyze a case study according to it. You can focus on a specific conflict or event, you can focus on one political actor or more, and on traditional or social media in your analysis.
Your presentation should be divided into three sections:
1. Short theoretical presentation.
2. A presentation of your case study.
3. The analysis.
The assignment will be done in groups of 3-4 students, and will be presented in class (each group will have 7 minutes to present their project). In addition each group will submit a written summary of their work (up to 3 double spaced pages, and a reference list).
