Monitoring Regulations Affecting Healthcare (Federal Register)

You are responsible for identifying and monitoring the status of proposed regulations that may affect your organization. You are also responsible for submitting comments on these proposed regulations to the federal government when appropriate.
Conduct a search of the recent issues of the Federal Register. This publication can be accessed at http:// www.federalregister.gov. Regulations are sorted by agency. Examples of agencies that may have proposed regulations affecting healthcare are: • Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services • Food and Drug Administration • National Center for Health Statistics • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
