Online vs. traditional marketing

Online vs. traditional marketing are both important to the success of your business, though one has more reach than the other. I feel that most business rely on an online marketing plan, and that is how most of the younger people in the world find information on new places to eat and drink, and places to go out in public. This is important when your company relies on getting new business through the way of online marketing. Though I still receive paper adds in the mail, I feel that most of those adds are junk mail, and usually gets thrown away in my household. I feel that this is important when it comes to being able to save money with online marketing, and though people may just click out of advertisement, it is important that companies save money where they can, and paper and printing advertisements cost a lot of money, for a company that may not have the cash flow, especially if the company is a start up and is needing to save on advertisements. Most business recognize the need for advertisement, and most of them have decided to do mostly online advertisement, unless you are already a customer in the business, like Harbor Freight which will then send out paper adds and coupons to get you into the business, or to visit their online store.
You also want to ensure your marketing is getting to the right market and right customer, so ensuring that your advertisements are shown to those customers are crucial. Social media play a lot into this role and is able to show your advertisements to your choice demographic, such as male within the age of 18-29 or female 26-32, which is a good way to target the audience you are looking for. The problem with traditional marketing plans is you cant pick your ideal audience and you have to print a lot of mail that will get your business nowhere, which is wasting valuable resources.
