You will taste two styles of beer from anywhere around the world. You will take one page of tasting notes per each beer tasted. The purpose of this tasting is to explore other international beers. Note the name, beer style, brewery, region, and ABV of the beer. We have provided a suggested list of International beers. You can purchase beers from this list or find different International beers to taste.
Beer tasting notes should include:
Appearance (color, clarity, and head retention)
Aroma (malt, hops, esters, and other aromatics)
Flavor (malt, hops, fermentation characteristics, balance, finish/aftertaste, and other flavor characteristics)
Mouthfeel (body, carbonation, warmth, creaminess, astringency, and other palate sensations)
Overall impression (comment on overall drinking pleasure associated with the beer)
