You are in charge of developing a “Team Collaboration Plan”, which will require virtual with at
least one or more team members. The team will be utilized to collaborate on a special project
of your choice in your selected agency, organization or practice. You are the team leader in
your profession and you also have a social worker and case manager on your team. One of
your team members is in a separate geographic location (you select which one). Based upon
concepts learned in this course, develop a plan that includes how you will address each of the
following:
Stages of team development, i.e., Tuckman
Team promoting collaboration strategies to get the project moving in the right
direction
Team building tools and how these will be utilized in the plan
Describe the type of technology you will use to ensure success including virtual
team meetings
Provide any strategies you believe will be needed to resolve and minimize conflict
the possible conflict you might encounter with virtual teams and the
Identify resources needed and from where, e.g., community, government, etc.
Share the implications of your plan for human services teams, e.g., community,
national, government, international
In your conclusion, share how you will use your plan in a current or future
