Current Event Analysis 1: In the assignment, you will analyze one current event through key psychological concepts from Chapters 8, 9, and 10. To complete this assignment, you will: (a) find an online article related to the topic of the chapter’s week and important issues in our world today, (b) read the article and write a 400-500 word summary how the article has psychological influences, and (c) include a link to the article or attach a copy. Since this is a current events assignment you are to choose an article that is no more than a week old from the date the assignment is due. You may only use articles from credible newspapers, magazines, or broadcast news media sources. (i.e., some example concepts may include: nature vs. nurture, conditioning, and learning, gender roles, perception, psycho-social influence, psychological applications, etc).
Write-up a summary of your interpretations/findings as answers to the following questions:
What psychological words or phrases appear repeatedly in the current event article?
What problem(s) or issue(s) is being discussed or analyzed? And how does it relate to one of the psychological concepts from chapters 8-10?
Who are the names of authors who wrote the current event?
This 400-500 word paper must use research to support your position. This paper must use APA formatting (title page, the body of work with in-text citations, reference page).
