The following output presents the frequency table and association between smoking and the development of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Among 100 persons with IPF, 60 were smokers or had a history of smoking; whereas, among 190 persons without IPF 80 were smokers. Find the odds ratio to describe the association between IPF and smoking.
